Ceramics
An evening to come to clay without hurry: to touch the material, learn what it can do, and build a set of three pieces with your own hands.
We gather at Casa Pequén around a shared table. Between wine, food and conversation we explore hand-building techniques, staying close to each process as it goes. You need no previous experience — only the wish to try, to make, and to let the material lead.
When the night ends the pieces go on. Each one stays in the workshop to finish drying, firing and taking its chosen finish, and is ready to collect about a month later.
One table, one evening and a small group — to make, to raise a glass, and to share.

Come as you are. Every run of this is taught from zero, whatever you already know.
Wine and hand-building
We sit down at the table first, with wine, something to share and a short introduction to the clay and its possibilities. Then the work begins: a set of three pieces built by hand, each process followed closely, and no hurry to finish.
The night begins at a shared table, with wine and something to pick at together; the conversation that starts there carries on once hands are in the clay.

Write to us to hold a place. We'll confirm the details and how to pay before anything is due. If your plans change, tell us as early as you can — the groups are small, and the place can go to someone else.
An experience that approaches clay through making: getting to know the material, working with your hands, and discovering how time and fire transform each piece.
